The future begins where you step: a call from CREAF to protect and restore soils

Coinciding with the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, CREAF is promoting a campaign to highlight soil health and call for citizen collaboration.

With the slogan “The future begins where you step” , CREAF has launched its first social patronage campaign to raise awareness about the importance of restoring soils and combating desertification. The initiative is part of CREAF’s new Social Patronage Program , which seeks to strengthen the center’s community and create new forms of collaboration between citizens, the private sector and science.

The campaign has the institutional support of the center, which has allowed the hiring of a consultant specializing in digital marketing, and also with the institutional support of CERCA, which is preparing a new initiative to promote scientific patronage in Catalan research centers.

Through CREAF's digital channels, thematic content, videos and messages are already being published that explain why soils are key to the future of the planet and how everyone can be part of the solution.
